Our Music

Ever since the Chorus was founded in 1858 its repertoire has included a number of new works (commissioned by the Leeds Music Festival or, in more recent times, by the Chorus itself).  On these pages you can find the music we have sung since 1995, a list of premières sung since the Chorus was founded and a list of recordings featuring the Chorus.

This lovely new photo of us was taken at our Christmas concert at St. Edmund’s, #Roundhay. We can’t wait to sing there again on Sat 2 March, including #Duruflé’s Requiem!

Looking forward to reliving memories of singing Britten’s War Requiem with @BBCPhilharmonic, @BenjaminAppl, @JoshuaEllicott, Evelina Dobračeva, & @LFChorus last November, by watching a documentary about @E_N_O’s staged version on BBC4 tonight at 10.30pm.
