"One of Britain's
finest Choruses"

Sing with us

Quotes from our members

Alice: "I often feel a real sense of collectiveness, especially in performance but also in rehearsals. A shared achievement."

Carol: "What a wonderful privilege - for an ordinary mortal - to be involved in music making at this level."

Tony: "My first concert, 12 years ago, was Mozart Requiem in York Minster. I thought, 'it doesn't get any better than this'. But it has!"

Kirsty: "I've really enjoyed being part of Leeds Festival Chorus. It's sometimes a challenge but always fun."

Suzie: "We've sung some fantastic music and I've made some fantastic friends - Leeds 'Friendly' Chorus."

Patrick: "I felt welcome and my ‘buddy’ helped overcome my initial uncertainties. I’ve moved up a league, with Simon encouraging me to develop my voice and technical skills."

Anne: "Challenging, stimulating and huge fun."

Do you enjoy singing ?

Then come and join in a rehearsal. These are on Wednesday evenings, in north Leeds, usually at the West Park Centre with our Conductor and Artistic Adviser, Simon Wright.

We welcome membership applications without regard to ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability and economic circumstances. Your ability to sing with us is what matters.

All people under the age of 26 at the start of our singing year are exempt from paying the annual subscription and there is a concessionary subscription rate for older students. Members finding particular difficulty with subscriptions or other charges can have a confidential discussion with our Treasurer.
