About LYC
Leeds Youth Choir welcomes young singers, male and female, from 12 to 19 or over, to a friendly group of about 30 singers. The choir sings a wide range of music, from popular songs and musicals to classical works, and takes part in three or more concerts each year in Leeds and Yorkshire.
Choir rehearsals are from 6.30pm to 8.00pm each Thursday in term time at Leeds Parish Church (near the Leeds Bus Station). New members are welcome to come along to a rehearsal to "try it out" before joining. Enjoyment of singing is the main requirement - specialist singing tutors help choir members to learn the skills needed.
