Friends

Leeds Festival Chorus has an active group of non-singing Friends who further its work and support its charitable aims. They enjoy a special relationship with the Chorus.

Privileges

Friends are entitled to:

  • an advance copy of the annual programme brochure
  • hospitality in the chairman’s bar during intervals of Leeds Town Hall concerts
  • a credit in concert programmes
  • newsletters and other information
  • attend special Friends events
  • invitations to social events with the Chorus
  • observe the Chorus at its regular Wednesday rehearsals.

We are also delighted if Friends volunteer to be concert stewards or help with Chorus fund-raising.

Joining

Friends membership takes account of the different needs of country members who wish simply to keep in touch with the Chorus and full members, living locally to Leeds, who can be more actively involved.

Delighted for our friends in @LFChorus, with whom we recently performed Britten’s War Requiem, that they’re taking part in @Chethams 50th Anniversary centrepiece performance of Mahler’s 8th Symphony on 5th July 2019 in the Bridgewater Hall. https://t.co/vICYFitZxI
