The Fund Raising and Social Committee (FRASC) works hard to help ensure that the chorus fulfils its fundraising commitment as a charity and that LFC is a sociable as well as a musical organisation. FRASC raises between £7,000 and £9,000 per year (with the help of the chorus, of course!) through a range of activities (e.g. plant-and-produce sales, challenges, quizzes, raffles and the like), but also has lots of fun in the process. Other events include walks, quiz nights, social evenings and an annual BBQ and Boules contest.
FRASC’s motto is Never Knowingly Underfed and so you can be sure that where the FRASC team is, there will be food – whether this be an afternoon tea of scones and cakes following a walk, or a delicious supper during an evening event.
