Our friends at the York Guildhall Orchestra are performing a concert on the 14th of October 2023. We've enjoyed making music with the YGO many times in the past and can wholeheartedly recommend their next concert. The programme includes Dvorak, Mendelssohn and Elgar. The orchestra says:
'The first concert in this season will see us welcome back an old friend of the orchestra, David Greed; he will play the ever-popular violin concerto of Mendelssohn. It's been a while since we played any of Elgar's symphonies, so we shall rectify this with a performance of his first. And to start proceedings, one of Dvořák's many concert overtures.'
